Exclusion Of Product From Coupon Discount Options

we are a non-profit and take donations. avactis has customized our store to have a donation product but I don't see a way to make a discount coupon not apply to the donation. It would really be nice to exclude a category from discounts (our sale products) so people don't get double dicounts.

Any thoughts on how this could be accomplished?

The Promo Code could be applied to the certain category, product or group of products on the Discounted Items tab.
