I'm getting the following error:

QUOTE
Your server's limitation of RAM allocated for running scripts is 15MB.
The amount of memory available to PHP processes should be at least 20MB. To continue the installation, please modify the value of the directive 'memory_limit' to 20M in your file 'php.ini'. For additional assistance, please contact your system administrator or hosting provider.

However, I contacted my hosting's support, and they said that the memory limit is set to 128MB. They also set me a link to the server's phpinfo() page, which verified the 128MB limit. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there any way I can get around this error and get the software to continue with the installation?

Thanks!

Hello,

Please check your memory limit using our script. This issue is discussed here http://www.avactis.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2384

Best Regards,
Steve

Hello Midori,

Try to do the following:
find the line in the file include.php
CODE
$memory_used =number_format((memory_get_usage()/1048576), 0);

and replace it with
CODE
$memory_used =number_format((memory_get_usage(true)/1048576), 0);

Best Regards,

Ive had similar problems too, even though the memory limit is set to 128MB or 50mb whatever, its depends on the default setting on there server for your account, its very common for hosting companies for standard accounts to have a default of around 16MB, thats just from emailing a lot of companies and asking what there settings are

I made the change in the include.php file that Alex suggested, and the software installed fine after that. Thanks!

I'm using Hurricane Electric (www.he.net). I've used them for 8 years, and their support is excellent. They're pretty much a self-service host. They don't have any fancy UI or automatic software installation like Lunar Pages and GoDaddy. But they're very stable and I've loved how helpful their tech support is.

I will have to check them out and would be interested to hear how well the avactis cart runs on their servers too, thanks. I making a bit of a collection of web hosts that run avactis well and what the costs are.
